About MyDreamCity.org
MyDreamCity.org is a fun worldwide project. It encourages children without families and raises social awareness about their situation. Any city in the world can join and contribute!
How Does it Work?
Initiative group in your city can visit a local orphanage, children rehabilitation center and organize a drawing session there. A few sheets of paper, pencils and a few spare hours are all you need! Or, if you are a representative of such institution, you can host such an event yourself!
Afterwards, email us these drawings (scan them or take a digital photo) with the information you want to share about the institution, initiative volunteers and things that could help this place and kids there.
Afterwards MyDreamCity.org will:
- Post-process and join these drawings into an interactive collage available on this site.
- Prepare press-release about the event and contact mass-media in your city, raising social awareness and attracting potential sponsors to provide more help.
- Send you back some selected images drawn by children from a different city. You could distribute them between kids to help them make friends around the world!

If you want to help this project and children around the world, you can start by sending us an email to info@mydreamcity.org and telling a little bit about yourself and your city! Even dedicating a few hours to this cause can help us to move forward (for example, translate this message, share links and spread the word).

This project is a wonderful project and gives an opportunity to the children without parents (orphan} to express their thoughts and feelings through drawing, to reviel their talants and collaborate with the children around the world. It will help many of them for their career development.
Children from the Gyumri orphanage and other parentless children from Armenia will participate in the project.

this project came in at a time i won rivers state nysc award in nigeria for humanitarian services that urged me to press it further by starting my NGO, christen CHILD & GREEN FOUNDATION. moreover, i have contacted my founder of Life Time Home orphanage in port harcourt as per area which i can be of assistance and with this project now in place, it is another venue to deepen the relationship.
